This is for those who may want to try the game of bowls. No appointment needed. Just come along and have a go. All you need are flat soled shoes (trainers). All equipment will be provided. We are based at Jordan Hill, in the north of the City of Oxford, on the North Oxford Business Park. Our clubhouse and bowls green are situated at the end of the park. There is ample parking. There is a bar and a function room (100 capacity) which is available for hire.

Our club is a works club, but independent, and anyone can join as an Associate Member. We welcome men and ladies of all ages.

Our subscriptions are probably the lowest in Oxfordshire. Our present subscription is £30 per annum. Only other cost is a match fee of £2 whenever you play an organised match against other clubs. 

We play around 30 matches per season, which runs from the end of April to the end of September. Seven matches are in the Oxfordshire Mixed Bowls League. ALL our matches are mixed. League matches are played on various days, evenings and afternoons, and there is nearly always a weekend match played on either Saturday or Sunday afternoons.

We also have a club evening every Tuesday during the summer for all members to have a friendly game between themselves, for practice and coaching. The clubhouse bar is open for refreshments.

We also play Short Mat Bowls every Tuesday evening at the clubhouse throughout the winter season from early October to late April.

The bowls green is open everyday and evening for practice, the only restriction being when the contractors are working on the bowls green.

The club also has a number of social events throughout the whole year, including an annual dinner.

The objects of the club are to play, enjoy and promote the game of bowls.
